Till we meet again

When I first started blogging in 2008 I had no idea where it would take me or what to expect. Getting those first comments were so thrilling! After almost 3 1/2 years, thousands of comments, and many new friends later I am thrilled with the results of A New England Life! Your response has been overwhelming at times with many of you believing in my photography even when I didn't. It's always been exciting to show my viewers parts of New England that otherwise you might not see and I'm so glad you've tagged along, encouraging me the whole way.

Unfortunately I've been mulling it over for a while now and I do believe I am done here. For the time being I have decided to move on.

However, I will be blogging over on The Sweetest Days, so if you'd like to follow along please feel free.

Leaving here is very, very difficult. It's a decision I've been agonizing over for a while, but, I hope you've enjoyed our time together. I know I sure have!

Many thanks, Sharon

Glad you're following your heart and hoping you'll keep this blog up and live so I can delve backwards and still discover New England! Good luck in your new adventure. I will definitely hop over and check it out as your photography (and you) is so worth the follow.

Sharon, Thank you for the showing me the beauty of New England while I was at home in California wondering what it would be like to live here. Your beautiful photos encouraged me to see it in all seasons and I'm so very glad I made the move! "Bravo" for your courage to move on, but the great beauty you have brought to the web will be missed!! I hope you continue with your tremendous talent with a camera!! My best to you and your family. Au revior!

I am sad about this, but I will definitely be stalking your other blogspot and please hear me in your brain (since I can't comment) saying each and every time how much I love your photography. And, please keep in touch with an email now and then>???? I will miss your blog so terribly, but I completely understand. It should never feel like a burden.

Oh Sharon, I get it, I really do, but of course I will miss these glimpses of New England that you bring so much magic to. It was your blog that eased my heartache while I was living out west, and made me feel a little closer to home.

I'll be sure to check in on your other spot. xoxo

Closing up just when I found you:( Will have to spend some time going through your archives as well as visiting you at The Sweetest Days.

Although I haven't completely stopped blogging at Picturing the Year I seem to have slowed down to two or three times a month....while keeping up with a daily photo at OXOXO....so I know exactly where you are coming from. This should all be about enjoyment!

Dear Sharon,

I give you credit for posting a farewell message on A New England Life. I know how much strength you needed to do it. Your ANEL blog is always worth visiting...

I have not had the ambition or courage to say Farewell to Mary's View.

I'll follow you...

Hugs,
Mary

Personally I am sad that you will be sharing fewer photographs. As a transplanted Yankee (to distinctly NOT Yankee territory) your photos have been a balm to my soul when I have missed what makes New England so unique. As a fellow blogger, however, I totally understand the personal shifts that lead us in new and different directions in our lives, and the implications those changes have for us in the blog world. I wish you joy and contentment in the journey that lies ahead for you. I also thank you, with deep gratitude, for the gift this blog has been to me over time. Peace and blessings to you, Sharon.
