Hydrangeas, Heirloom eggs, and Lace

photo taken with my iPhone 4

The snow is still blanketing a decent portion of the yard but we're headed for temps in the 50's again today. Melt snow, melt!

My poor niece in Connecticut still doesn't have power. She said very few people do where she lives, and there is a lot of damage. I just feel awful for her and all those still living in the cold and dark. As she said though, 'at least it's not February!'

Have a good Wednesday!

What a great photo! I would have never guessed that it was taken with a phone!

Lovely! I've been bemoaning the cold weather we're getting, but I guess I should be grateful we don't have snow!

Oh, the colors in this photo are beautiful! I'm sorry to hear about your niece in CT...they must have been hit hard. Hopefully their power will be restored soon. How much snow did they get, anyway? We only got about 3 inches here, but thankfully our power stayed on.

One of the women in my Tues night class lives in West Hartford and she has been staying in a hotel since the storm...On top of not having power her daughter was married in NYC the day before the storm causing all kinds of travel havoc! Lots of sad stories coming out of this storm....making me feel luckier than ever!

Wow, what a picture. You know, Sharon, it is YOU taking such a beautiful picture - I know because my IPhone can't take such wonderful pics. Enjoy your day, stay warm and cozy.
