How did I miss this post? I hope your not too busy and can show us more. Now that it's cooled off a bit I'm re-enerized to do more in my own garden. Which reminds me I need to go work on. Boy the day flies by.

Hi Sharon,

I needed to see some pretty pictures this morning and knew I could find some at your place.

I scrolled down to read your previous post - being the crazy dog lover that I am - and have to hold tears back. When I saw the first picture of the old dog, I was horrified that somebody would expose an it to waves. But as I continued to read and see the other pictures, I know you are exactly right about what he was doing. I think it was a final act of love. It is so sad and your pictures and description are quite moving. I'm glad that dog had somebody to love him so much.

And yes, you should definitely take Lily there next time and cherish that time with her.

We have a similar place on Vancouver Island, built in an old quarry! We really like going there!
